May Update: Ms. Floyd's Story

Ms. Floyd watches out and cares for those who are hurting in her community and regularly provides meals to people in need. Through a partner church's City Ministry team, we learned that Ms. Floyd had some needs as well. She suffers from many health challenges that impact her day-to-day activities. She also had some house problems affecting her quality of life and safety. The major issue was her front steps which hindered her home access.

Partnering with Georgia Handicap Ramps, we were able to provide and install a wheelchair ramp for Ms. Floyd, making it much easier to get in and out of the house.  She was grateful for all of the assistance, especially the ramp, and shared, "I had high steps to climb and getting in the house was difficult for me…  Now I can either walk it or ride it...  I'm so blessed and thankful for everything."  That thanks goes to you also.  Your investment in people in need, through HRM, makes this story possible.
