Sharing Hope in Christ

The power of putting faith into action shows in the life of long-time Home Repairs donor, Nathan Anderson.

My Dad, Harvey Anderson, helped lead Home Repairs for many years, and our family has prayed for Home Repairs since Dad went full time with the ministry years ago,” Nathan Anderson said. “As the Lord has continued to provide, in more recent years we have been blessed to add financial support to those prayers.”

While many factors can lead people to give, Nathan sees it as a way to point back to the source of all he has.

“God is the ultimate giver - He sent His son to rescue and die for lost people like me,” he said. “My giving is just a small reflection of what He has done for me.”

The Anderson family has witnessed a lot of positive change and growth in Home Repairs since its start in 2002.

“I am thankful and encouraged to see the way Home Repairs has helped so many people in need over the years, and for the efforts to involve volunteers from churches in the areas where needs arise,” he said. “Home Repairs is a powerful blend of meeting physical and spiritual needs. Helping to alleviate the stress of needed and unaffordable repairs can also open doors to sharing our hope in Christ.”

Home Repairs current Executive Director, Mark Wolfe, is grateful for Nathan’s dedication to the organization’s vision and mission.

“Nathan's continued support means alot to me personally,” Mark said. “ It is a testament to the work this ministry has done and the work yet to do.”

Along with giving to Home Repairs, Nathan serves as a deacon at Perimeter Church. He also enjoys spending time with his family and pursuing his hobbies.

“I have been married to my wife Heather for 19 years, and we have 3 teenage daughters: Mackenzie, Rebekah, and Naomi,” Nathan said. “I help manage a metals manufacturing company in Oakwood, GA, and I enjoy running and hiking. I also plan to get scuba certified this spring.”
